How does Jeaveau work?
Jeuveau™ is made from a substance called botulinum toxin type A, which is also found in other popular injectables such as Botox and Dysport. Treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes and does not require any downtime. Results from Jeuveau™ can be seen within a week and last up to 3 months.
Who is a candidate for Jeaveau?
Anyone who is a good candidate for Botox and other neuromodulators is also a good candidate for Jeuveau™. Having previously undergone Botox or other treatments does not exclude a person from getting Jeuveau™ unless an adverse reaction to the neurotoxin has occurred in the past.
People with an allergy to botulinum toxin type A or, people with certain neuromuscular conditions such as ALS should not get Jeuveau™. This drug is also not approved for women who are pregnant or nursing. Treatment should not be conducted in an area where the skin is inflamed.
